You probably wouldn’t intentionally spill red wine on your carpet, right? Or stomp around your living room wearing muddy boots on purpose? I doubt you would consider spray-painting your dining room rug either.
Why not? Because all of those liquids are known to stain carpet and at times cause permanent damage.
Now, would you spray store-bought spot removal products onto your carpet or detergents and other household cleaning products?
Possibly. But did you know that there is just as good of a chance, if not more so, of you damaging your carpet with those store-bought cleaners as there is with the mud, wine or paint?
